Beginner Piano Book 2

Piano Book 2 introduces students to essential musical concepts through engaging and accessible exercises. The concepts in book 2 are built on the concepts from book 1. 

Theory –  Black note names, crescendo & decrescendo, forte and piano, ties and slurs, octaves, sharps and flats, accelerando, accidentals

Rhythm – Quavers, 2/4 time

Melody – Playing with hands an octave apart in C position, playing two notes in one hand, small hand position changes.

Music Skills – Composing 4-8 bar songs, improvising on written material, clapping and singing.

The book is designed to be used with a piano tutor.
